THOUGHTS FOR MY CLIENTS

The iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it is impossible to turn back. The iron never lies to you. The iron will always give you the real deal – the true reference point. 200 lbs is always 200 lbs.

A transplant from a small farm town in Michigan, John’s roots in fitness started in team sports such as hockey and football, spending his free time running and swimming. Living in the Bay Area for the last decade, once he was introduced to powerlifting, he fell in love with pushing/pulling iron and never looked back.

When he’s not continuing to finesse his conditioning training at the gym you can find him on the rock climbing wall at the local gym, bombing hills on his longboard or hiking in the Oakland hills.
